The flags are out in Grasmere for the Queen's birthday celebrations this weekend. 

We went for a coffee and scone (my excuse is that I'm doing a bit extra to support the local economy) and came home with a new jacket. Just happened to remember while there about an email I'd received last week with details of some special offers.  

Back home for lunch and at 1.45 the rain started. For over an hour it was torrential with thunder and lightning.
