Playa La Ropa

We are back in Zihuatanejo for a day of sunshine and warm temperatures. The first thing we do after unpacking the car is to put our feet in the sand of Playa La Ropa. Our familiar beach has changed during our three weeks away. There are many more people on the sand, some new vendor shacks have sprung up along the edges of the beach (though this photo shows neither), and the hills are incredibly green. The warm, inviting water remains, as does our favorite beach-side restaurant. It is here that we sit at the end of our walk to enjoy papas fritas (the best on the beach) and tiritas along with a couple of cold libations. It is good to be home, if just for a day.
