Traveling

Today, it is back to Patzcuaro. We have made the 3 1/2 hour trip, mostly on the autopista, a half dozen times now. Each trip yields different views and today I finally pulled over to capture the verdant greens that are visible this time of year. The last time we passed this spot, about half way between Zihua and Patz, it was just being planted and the hillsides were brown. Now the growing crops are surrounded by green hills as far as the eye can see. It is quite a transformation, one that happens every rainy season.
