Signs of the Storm

I was woken up in the night by the sound of the wind and when I looked out I could see it was very windy, with treetops rocking wildly in the wind.
As I drove out to work I passed the rubbish bins by the road, for our house and two others.  The wind had neatly laid all but one on their side. By the time I came home even that one had joined the others.
The wind has been reaching 21 meters per second (about 50 mph).  Windy enough to be very noticeable and leave several thousand houses without electricity, but not a storm to bring down much forest, fortunately.
