Hawthorn Blossom

I'm finding it hard to keep up with nature at this time of the year, and have just about caught this hawthorn blossom before it's past it's best.

I went to Mere Sands Woods Nature Reserve today with a friend from work. It's a small nature reserve between the villages of Holmeswood and Rufford in west Lancashire, England, managed by The Wildlife Trust for Lancashire, Manchester & North Merseyside. Although I didn't take many photos while I was there, it was a lovely spot with plenty of wildlife.
