Red sand

I am quite envious of those artistic Blippers who post such lovely photos, so I thought I would have a go at something light and delicate.

I caught the sun just as it was coming over a rare patch of red sand. I can't tell you where it is as it is a protected site.. The shallow sea water glimmered over the ripples in the sand made by the last tide. 

Actually, I just made that up as I'm sitting on the settee with an old red cushion and my smartphone.
