2016 Sunday -- Dinner-hour Entertainment

As I began to prepare our evening meal, the entertainment on the ocean horizon in front of us was thoroughly distracting! We had seen whale activity in Estero Bay all weekend, but this was by far the best show because they were so close.

I regret not using the better camera, but I'm really not skilled in using it, so I just stood at the kitchen sink with my iPhone poised and clicked like crazy when we saw the water spray as the whales spouted, and then as they came clear out of the water, and then made "cannonball" splashes as they landed on the ocean's surface. The show was spectacular!

Tomorrow we head for southern California,
