Taken in the (Mathematical) Modelling is Fun session, just at the moment that Sev launched the boomerang to demonstrate something that Prof Jones was pointing out. And yes, the boomerang did come back - in fact it did a couple of complete circuits.

His headgear was provided by someone who thought that Lincoln green would be appropriate. I suppose this did take place in Nottingham...
