Wintersweet.....

....alluring flowers born on naked stems,
fragrant, spicy and delicious,
pale yellow petals, waxy and translucent,
a joy to have in my winter garden.

It hardly felt like winter today, at noon we were hugging a warm 21C while at 5pm it was still 18C - is this winter?!

It was really nice to be able to get the lensbaby out today. It's been the first time since March 2015 and I'd almost forgotten how to use it. The lack of use has been due to my eyes. This shot was taken with the double glass optic with +4 macro.
