Downtown Reykjavik

We have been having lovely summer weather, I have been outside with short sleeves and sandals which is unusual for Iceland. Went to Reykjavik, and while M had her hair cut, I took a walk down Reykjavik's main shopping street which they have again closed for traffic (well part of it anyway). I wish they would do it all year round, but it is just a summer thing at the moment. I think there are only about 18 parking spaces that are 'lost', but still some shop owners and shoppers complain. The streets are closed off with a blue gate and a blue bicycle, kids love sitting on the bike and pretending to ride them.
