Multi-coloured

1. Starts dull but gets sunny. I love it when that happens. I don't love it when something you've been geared up for just doesn't happen though. It's all internal readjustments. I start the day saying it and I guess maybe it's true - I don't like change that much.

2. I nip home and pack for the weekend, then pick Colin up at Willow Trading after his massage. It's a lovely summer evening so we head along the Great Western Road and aim for the coast.

3. We get to Helensburgh just as the sun is going down. We spot this pub - the brightest pub I've seen since Santa Monica and comment on how well my outfit blends in.

4. We have a fish tea in a wee place called the Palace, which is brilliant.

5. Home, a good thing about Doris Day on telly but a very noisy wee dog outside. Can't have everything I suppose.
