Haworth

If you are a fan of the Brontes then this is where they lived, the picturesque village of Haworth. It's on one of my favourite short bike rides, staying above the valleys and taking in Oxenhope, Haworth, Keighley, Crossroads and home. This is taken from Black Moor Road. I was out there this afternoon and it reminds me of all the lovely bits of Yorkshire which are close to home. Sometimes I think we don't appreciate what is under our noses.

Tony is safely arrived in Aviemore and it's the Opening ceremony for the Olympics tonight so I have my wine and choccy ready for the long haul. London Mayor Boris gave an epic quote last night, 'The geiger counter of Olympomania is going to go zoink off the scale.' Nice one Boris!
