the starting point for the Stevenson trail proper is this small town. as you can see it was getting very hot but the campsite down by the river gave us good shade. we delayed our start by day as my blow up mattress developed a leak and we had to find a Decathlon in order to replace it. the town was shut so it was a good job we had provisions with us.
