on the Stevenson Trail

we crossed the bridge and it was UP through the woods for a hour towards Le Cluzel. Here M blipped one of the original trail signs. Onwards to Le Cros where we found a bus stop and two chairs (much appreciated as it was now well into the 30's). A grassy track took us to S. Martin de Fugeres with an old church and a metal cross for a war memorial. Suddenly it was UP again towards an old farm and then a difficult descent on a very eroded track to Goudet and the Rock and Camp campsite where we pitched our backpacking tent next to a picnic bench and went off to eat burger and pizza at the site restaurant as there are no shops in Goudet.
