Mesmerised....

A soggy Sunday in Edinburgh.

We'd planned to take the kids back to St Andrew Square for more film watching- and the weather apparently wasn't going to put them off.

So, after breakfast, Face Timing B (who was sporting a fancy hat made from his Duplo) and making another carb heavy picnic, we headed back into town.

This time we took our camping chairs - the luxury!

There weren't many people at all watching Finding Nemo (mainly as it was raining and cold), and those who were there had picked to sit under the trees (except for one family who brought a pop up tent for their kids to shelter in. Genius).

By the end of Nemo I was ready to head home, but the kids wanted to stay and watch Harry Potter. A quick trip to Fopp for a look around and warmth, then back to settle down for the second half of our double bill.

Iain's eldest started reading the first HP a while ago. He's on page 14. He's six. He's reading it himself.

He was VERY excited at seeing one of the films. He refused to sit down during it. His face was a picture.

This was taken at a particularly exciting bit.
