Strangles.
I arrived home from a weekend away and at four in the afternoon was searching for sunsets and hazed distant views when another option occurred. Today's blip shows our daughter Kerryn holding her sons "pet" snake Strangles. My blip for tomorrow will show why the snake is called Strangles. Strangles is a Black Headed Python, this species can be found from Central Queensland across the top of Australia to the shores of Western Australia. Several years ago before reaching its new home I spent several weeks altering its enclosure. Late one evening Strangles enclosure was open so I reached out with my arm and put my fingers on the sill. After a minute or so, Strangles slithered up me arm until he was resting on my shoulder. Strangles checked me out for about ten minutes before returning home for a sleep. Tomorrows blip, how Strangles got its name and being fed before going to sleep for about two and a half months, sleep well!
