Apricot and Cardamom jam
All the markets seem to have lots of apricots selling very cheaply (l am told they are the first fruits of the year from Turkey) so l bought a lot and as it was raining today made 8 pots of jam. I love making jam, a hangover from my grandmother who had a preserving room that l used to love going into, seeing all the jams and preserves glistening away in their jars. I also find it very therapeutic. M is fond of the results.
