A holiday in a day

I woke up this morning with nothing much planned for my day except probably some washing and hoovering. I then received a call from the lovely harebell who said she was coming to town and would I like to meet her. So off I went to what turned out to be a wonderful day. We had a long, leisurely lunch at a lovely little cafe that we hadn't been to before. There was music playing and a very relaxed atmosphere and with the sun shining it felt like we were on holiday.

Back home now and getting ready to settle down for the Olympic Opening Ceremony.....can't wait to see it, I'm sure it's going to be amazing!
