Day lily

A very hot & muggy day, too hot for me really so it was a quiet day. Noticed that my veg were covered in caterpillars so tried to pick as many off as I could but don't know how to get rid of them all as I don't like to use anything nasty in the garden.....

The day lilies seem to be doing better this year and the hover flies seem to like them too.
