Sorting out the gear at Scarborough Harbour

The sky overcast with sea mist, the foghorn
blasting intermittently, the hour when most
folks would not have shed their nightcaps,
two elderly salts are to be seen down by
the harbour meticulously combing through
their nets. The small mesh size invited my
curiosity and my question was met by the
reply that they were looking for brill and
turbot. An invitation to smile for the camera
was met with the reply that they will when
they hear we are out of the EU ! No further
questions !
