Something to smile about

An interesting mono challenge.

Listening to the news early on saw no smiles, atrocities in Orlando and mayhem in Marseilles. Listening to the news these days is a challenge in itself.

The day itself was busy, but not at all photographic when I popped out at lunchtime - torrential rain. And on the way home as well.

Home and J had had a difficult conversation with her Mum. We chatted quite a bit.

So what to blip. Have missed most of the Springwatch series so far, but that always makes me smile. A message and photo from a niece - "My office for the whole day today !! Whoohoo !!" (clue, she's just started a new job, doing what she loves - see extra).

But I've chosen this. I removed lots of things from a noticeboard yesterday, but kept this. J bought it when we visited Provence a couple of years ago, she says it sums me up and makes her smile. Personally, I think I'm a bit deeper than this .............
