Hatchings

I found these discarded egg shells yesterday evening, under our house martin's nest. They are fragile, nothing like a hen's egg. I guess the reason they are white is because there is no need for camouflage in the enclosed mud nest.

The chicks must be tiny (20p coin for comparison).
