Strolling on the Shore

We followed this Great Blue Heron along the lake shore this morning.  It was good that we got out for a walk early instead of waiting for the clouds to burn off - because they never did.  We've had intermittent thunderstorms all day with heavy winds.  So we spent most of the day inside reading and playing games.  The trailer is a comfortable and cozy place to spend a rainy day and it has lots of windows so we could watch the rain and the whitecaps on the lake.  The forecast for the rest of the week is all sun so we'll be able to get back outside for a few days before we head home on Thursday.
