Trees and Clouds, Landywood

Drove through some torrential rain today on the way back from Stratford upon Avon after a work visit.  Lightning could be seen in the distance but there was no opportunity to stop (motorway regulations).

A little later I visited a local industrial estate after reports of illegal burning.  Nothing was going on but as I walked back to the car I noticed these trees on the horizon with the storm clouds banking up behind.

I've got to admit I didn't check the camera's settings.  Embarrassingly, they were still the same as the photos take for the Ironman competition on Sunday.  I seem to have got away with it, but it is a lesson to check settings before taking the shot.
