Delphinium, sp

The flowers in our garden have taken a bit of a battering the last few days.  I popped out to check on things (no watering required!), and noted some newly planted delphiniums had started to flower.  They were still saturated with rain drops from the last shower.

Technical: a focus stack, using Helicon Focus. 15 images making up the stack, I try and keep a wide aperture (f/4.0) to keep the background soft and out of focus, even though it risks losing sharpness if the focus steps are too wide.
