NORTH UIST

A one night B&B on South so we could see more of the islands. The weather is amazing again and the scenery fantastic. We could even see St Kilda in the distance, 40 odd miles away, and while waiting for the ferry from Leverburg to Berneray, saw Angus Campbell go out with a lucky boatload to visit the island.

Once on Uist the birds were jumping up in front of us, Short-eared Owls, Merlin, Hen Harriers. A very good day.

We stayed at a B&B near Lochboisdale. It was very comfortable and the breakfast was splendid.
