The baby bluetits made their first long visit to the garden today. They landed on the arbour roof , which is in need of a coat of paint, and sat their for a sometime while their parents came down and fed them with huge pieces of the suet block.
There have been two baby robins, one was particularly noisy demanding to be fed.
A wet, windy and colder day today. I've packed lots of layers and waterproofs ready for our time away. We leave tomorrow and shoud be on the Isle of Harris by 8 o clock tomorrow evening. I've a feeling we may head for Luskentrye Beach once we have booked into our B&B. We should have wifi so hopefully I'll be able to carry on blipping but if we do nt I'll see you when I get back !
