'Beans' brain
Well this afternoon 'Bean' (my old PC) had his appointment with the brain surgeon (Tim, our son) in order to undertake brain surgery in an effort to transplant 'his' brain (hard disc) to the replacement PC. It was a long and lengthy process and 'Bean' was placed under a great deal of stress. However, the surgeon eventually confirmed that unfortunately it was not possible to effect the surgery without the possibility of other serious complications, so the transplant was abandoned. Whilst the replacement PC was still on the operating table, a great deal of other necessary surgery was performed on the replacement machine, and an anti-virus drug was administered. The final result was that 'Bean' kept his 'brain' intact and returned to his new home for retirement. The replacement machine was cleaned up and is now making a full recovery. Attempts were also made to improve the nervous system in an effort to resolve the on-going problems with the internet. The final results will not be known until after at least 24 hours, once the replacement machine has been discharged from intensive care. In the meantime, I wish you all a peaceful night and a nice day when it arrives. As for 'Bean', 'he' asked me to pass on his best wishes and to say "goodbye" on his behalf.
