... baseball!

What a busy day we had! 

We started the day by going to the inaugural Food Truck Border Brawl at SteelStacks.  The Food Truck Border Brawl featured eight food trucks from the Garden State (New Jersey) going head to head against eight mobile eateries from the Keystone State (Pennsylvania). Proceeds from the event went to support the nonprofit ArtsQuest’s free music, arts and education programming for the region, including Musikfest, the largest free music festival in the nation.  Pennsylvania was named the winning state in the event.  Yay! Pennsylvania!

After leaving this event we did a little shopping and then went to Jacobsburg State Park for a little while.

Then it was home for a short time before leaving (again!) for Coca-Cola Park for our annual IronPigs baseball game!  Because we are both cancer survivors we were invited to the game by Lehigh Valley Hospital.  The hospital has this event annually for all cancer survivors (plus a guest) and everything is paid for by them ... food, parking, drinks, etc!  It's a really great event and you get to meet some wonderful people ~ other cancer survivors. 

Because we had had a long day we left after the 7th inning.  The IronPigs went on the win the game 16 to 1 over the Durham Bulls!
