Olympic Opening Ceremony

I went with two girlfriends to a restaurant-bar for friendship, food, and to catch the opening of the Olympic Games in London. I always end up with mixed feelings, seeing Blighty on the tele. There are things I miss about the UK and a bit of nostalgia sets in. But then much of the UK which I remember is gone forever and cannot be revisited.
