Under the branches!

It is a cold day out there - we shivered our way through our half hour talk from the firemen as they showed us around a fire engine today! Everybody really enjoyed it though, particularly when the sirens and flashing lights came on! 

The classic from today, which I just have to share with you, is as follows: 

Parent: "Are you not finishing early today, like the rest of the schools, like all of them in the country? You know for the football?" 

Me: "No, it is just a normal school day."

Parent: "Well, I've got to come collect 'im then, and half time will have finished, right?" 

Me: "Yes you will."
