Playday for the Pups
Early this afternoon our granddaughter, Ashly, sent Mr. Fun a text to say that she wanted to bring their 3 pups over to our house sometime soon for a "play day."
So we sent an immediate response, "Bring them now. This afternoon! We'd love to see them."
We were out in the backyard, Mr. Fun was brushing the pool, when Ash and her 3 pups came walking through the gate. Our 3 dogs and hers just went crazy. Lots of sniffing, a little bit of growling, and occasionally some teeth-bared warnings. But everyone remained cordial and no one got down right nasty.
Ash mostly wanted to show us her newest pup, little Barkley (black with red harness), who is several pounds lighter than Chloe (not in the photo). Our black Shih tzu, Max, just was so excited to see this new little black pup.
"Enjoyable" is an apt description of this afternoon.
Good night from Southern California.

P.S. Ashly is our oldest grandchild and just a delight. She will be 24 on her birthday in September. During the school year she works with Autistic children and she is in college to earn her degree in teaching special education so she can work with these children for the remainder of her life. Then on weekends she works for an Ace Hardware Store. She knows more about garden tools and all kinds of hardware parts and pieces than I could ever imagine, and I think this is just amazing.
