Enjoyed this Day!
Late this afternoon we drove north to Cambria. We both wanted to look for some books in the used bookstore. Mr. Fun found the John Steinbeck books he was looking for, but I did not find what I wanted - no biggie.
Then we made a quick stop at the library to see what was available in their "Friends of the Library Store." Mr. Fun found another handful of used CDs for a $1.00 each and I found a couple used magazines. A "Farmers Market" was happening right next door in the parking lot, so we walked through and purchased several tomatoes and a few onions.
Then we headed toward the ice cream store we had been at this past Monday with Eric & Elin; we wanted to get some of the caramel sea salt flavor we couldn't get earlier in the week, but they still did not have that flavor available. So I enjoyed a scoop of their peach flavor.
We drove south toward home and stopped at the pier parking lot just to lookey and then home so we could barbecue some steaks and enjoy them along with some baked potatoes and steamed zucchini.
Then a walk with the three pooches to the shoreline just before the sun dropped over the northern coastal hills. The view was gorgeous in both directions and if I could figure out how to create a montage on my MacBook Pro, I would post the view looking south on the community all lit-up with the last rays of the day, as well as this one looking northward toward the pier.
Good night from Central California.
