The West Door.

This imposing English Gothic structure is the western entrance to King's College Chapel, Cambridge, and was built between 1446 and 1515. Today the rain kept away and there  was quite a bit of sunshine. I called in the college to renew my resident's pass so that I could have the freedom to wander around the colleges and the lovely gardens without paying a fee. Not all colleges charge, mainly King's and those in Trinity street which are the most popular with tourists but some others are equally wonderful buildings. I rather like Emmanuel and Jesus colleges.
