Chimney pot

I have several old Mancunian chimney pots brought home by daughter A when she was at uni there. They look good with plants in the top, and this one has been home to a dwarf clematis for several years.
Normous was anxious to get his grass cut today. After heavy rain overnight, it was too wet to mow first thing so he delayed until the afternoon. Work was then interrupted with rain falling heavily out of a sunny sky. There has been a lot of rain today so I guess it will be muddy underfoot at Village Day tomorrow. I shall be there, taking pictures for our website, and hope to get a blip too.
