Consult the Coracle

Read all about it .... man tries to walk on water .... and fails!

The Mark 2 coracle isn't nearly as stable as the Mark 1. It tipped Dougy into the canal with no hesitation whatsoever and later did exactly the same to me. In between we were getting in some paddling practice before tomorrow's small boat race. The good news is that we've already been offered a tow if needed! I was OK today when there was no other canal traffic but it might be a different story when we're sharing the water with canoes, barges and whatever other craft turn up. I might bring a change of clothes tomorrow, just to be on the safe side.
