After the watershed

Post the water receding, this is the windmill, stripped of carpet, and hats. I had a delayed shock reaction today - had been keeping going on adrenaline, but things just caught up with me at lunchtime when my visa for next week's trip had not turned up.

2hrs later than scheduled it arrived, so I am off to Moscow on Monday. As M pointed out, it will be less like living on a campsite, though my year abroad in 1990, rural Russia student digs was similar to a campsite... Apprehensive, as have not done as much prep as I would have wanted, and this type of audit is not my forte, but the opportunity to revisit Russia is something I've wanted to do for ages.
