Another truck, another town

So I have spent most of today on the back of a truck. Smiling my biggest smile, playing my agogo bell for hours on end. First of all we were at Kirkconnel and Kelloholm Gala, one of our favourites - there is always a real community spirit and great hospitality. People of all ages dance along to our tunes and afterwards we get a sit down meal of pies, sandwiches and cakes.

Whizzing back down the A76, stopping to pick up D on the way, and we are off to Guid Nychburris in Dumfries. Playing the bell again and this time wearing a huge feathery samba headdress. So many people lining the streets, enjoying the sunshine and the gala spirit... Dumfries really sparkled tonight!
