Waxing Moon

I've been ticking off tasks today, whilst J is away at her Mum's.

But this evening I needed some countryside and so went down to the Weaver for a bit of a walk. This blip is on my way back. The moon was rising, with the grasses and umbellifers silhouetted in the foreground - it will be a full moon on Monday,, the first one on the summer solstice since 1967 I read today. That's quite a gap.

I've added a couple of extras. My favourite derelict boat is now sporting a couple of birch trees. It'll disintegrate long before they mature. And a pendolino is crossing the viaduct over the Weaver en route from London to perhaps Glasgow, on the second extra.
