Bother

Just read the latest update about this particular friend today. To be honest, I'm so envious of her. About a week ago, she returned from her short getaway at Majika, Philippines. She loves to travel a lot. When she talks about getaway, she really mean it. Hence, she travel about 12 times a year, and she's only my age.

I have no idea how she does it. I mean, there is much things in life to consider about before making decisions like going overseas. Firstly, how much faith does her parents have in her ability to take care of herself while travelling overseas all alone? Secondly, how does she financially support herself? I bet these will be the problems for me.

It's like, for instance, in Singapore, parents(and boyfriend) get so worried when you are out late in the night, I don't know how are they supposed to cope if I were to travel overseas alone.

Our world is vast, it's for us to explore and experience. Why be so afraid to take risks?

I had a free night, so I headed to another park I've never been to. Well, that's for not being able to globe-trot. Made do with it. Not too sure about the exact location, but eventually I found my way there. And that's the advantage of travelling alone.
