Today we took a drive out to a beautiful lake stopping off at a gorgeous village for lunch on the way. As always most places were shut for lunch so we had to make do with croque monsieur at a little cafe. I think if we want a proper lunch we will have to be there at 12 but we've been getting up late and having a lazy bekky in the garden once mr EG has cycled to the boulangerie for croissants so we don't want lunch till later. We can't easily go out for dinner cos all the restaurants round where we are don't open till 8 which is too late for tobes. We met James and Lynne at the lake and sunbathed and Tobes and mr EG had a swim. Gorgeous day.
