#eroicabritannia Ride Complete

I got up at 06:00 to get ready for a 07:15 ride off.

Departed at 07:30

Hit the first major hill about half an hour in.

Nearly threw up at the top.  Reminder to self: a late night an a couple of vodkas is not preparation.

After 22 miles I got to a feed station and it was being run by our local butchers.  A pleasant surprise that cheered me and gave me enough energy to get round the rest without incident.

55 miles done, got back through at about 13:00 I think.

Ate a huge pizza to celebrate.

I ache like buggery.

Same again next year I think.
