BesideThe Seaide In the Rain .

It seemed a good plan this morning .That is , travel by car to St Annes near to Blackpool taking the bikes .Park then ride all the way to Fleetwood and back as a means of great exercise plus lots of sea air ... Not school holidays yet so few crowds . Understatement .!  Within 15minutes of arrival the rain began We continued . So it went on with pauses for coffee. This  madness stopped short of Fleetwood and after the''must eat' fish & chips we set off back .By now the rain was furious as was a strong westerly wind . We seemed to have the front to ourselves .The seagulls were happy .Loads of rich pickings washed up by the tide . Donkeys were safely back in stables .The stop me and by an ice had been abandoned .
I got in the car wearing soaking clothes...Did I enjoy it ?  Yes. The legs and lungs had really worked well
