the watchful house wren

Dusk again! This little house is in our front yard and one of the house wrens  decided it would make a good home. He pops in and out, which has me hopeful that there is someone inside sitting on eggs. the rest of his time is spent singing in the apple tree or on the wire, or scolding me while I work in the flower bed.
