Home again

The Columbia River Gorge is a beautiful place, with grand views and most interesting and varied geological formations. Most of our five hour journey home today followed the river. Besides being beautiful, the gorge serves as a major transportation thoroughfare, with highways and railroads on both sides of the river.. This, and the two extras give a little taste of what it's like.
