Camera shake

I took this photograph of the heron as it was standing at the side of a pond probably 200 to 300 yards away. With just the automatic setting on a bridge camera, and hand held, I thought "Let's see what happens". I think it looks rather like an oil  painting and thought it was a nice result of  camera shake!I 

Another hot one, 96ºF this afternoon and although I water in the morning while it is relatively cool, by afternoon everything looks pretty sorry for itself. It is amazing how things recover overnight.
