Katoomba Falls

I didn't come here specifically to shoot the elegant Katoomba Falls. I figured I had sort of worn out my welcome for waterfall shots last week. As it happened however, I was trekking the Furber Steps with a very old friend of mine on our way to the Federal Pass at the bottom of the Jamison Valley escarpment ... and well, the falls were sort of there  .... weren't they. 

Many a fine blipper has come down this beautiful walking track through all the temperate rain forest. TreeHugger, osuzanna, Paladian, isbi and The Rower are a few which spring to mind. Thing is, every time is like the first time, I reckon.
