Thoroughly Impressed

Like a lot of other blippers today I cheated and Blipped the TV. I sat down to watch about 30 minutes of the Olymplics opening ceremony (or so I thought) and ended up being transfixed for almost four hours. The ceremany was absolutely superb and mad eme thoroughly proud to be British (not an emotion common for me!). I even think it was better than Beijing....so many original elements and a great dash of humour throughout....went to be as soon as Paul McCartney came on though...they could have easily left that part out!!
