Day Twelve: Relax

In a complete contrast to yesterdays scrums in Venice today was completely relaxing (sort of). We visited another theme park, Movieland, which was only 15 minutes drive and very quiet. The longest queue for a ride was about 5 minutes and most of the ride (including some big rides) were just 'walk on'. So we managed to do just about every ride once and quite a few several times. What's more is that you could always find a seat in the shade when you needed it.

In the evening off for, what we thought would be, a quiet evening walk around Peschiera del Garda...only to find that the place is mobbed in the evenings with all visitors arriving in their power boats (well some of the richer ones anyway) for evening meals, drinks and a spot of shopping (everything open until midnight), Still a good browse around the shops, a granita or two and some more ice cream before sitting down on the end of the pier to admire the sunset and watch this guy paddling his board off towards the horizon.

PS - I've decided what to do with the lottery winnings when I get them, a villa on the shores of Lake Garda with a power boat to visit the towns on the shore for evening drinks/meals.....dream on!!
