Final day

I checked out of my hotel and did a little bit of shopping in between eating. I relaxed in a cafe for a few hours and then went to pick up my bags from the hotel. I passed this protest at the Democracy Monument near Khao San Road.

I had planned to have my final meal back at Jay Fai but annoyingly it was closed, forcing me to have a terrible curry at the airport. It's a shame my time back in Bangkok was so brief but I had to get back to the UK in time for my dad's 70th birthday. While I was sad to be leaving Asia, I was excited to see my family and friends back home.
